Veterans

Veterans, for Radio 1 Stories, is the third programme on the network over the last ten years from producer Simon Jacobs that hears from young British soldiers who have served in Iraq and Afghanistan.

It contains thirteen new interviews with serving and ex-soldiers who describe what it’s like to have grown up during this period, to have fought, been injured, lost friends and for some, to have left the forces behind to start new lives.
