RAJAR Success for Unique and Smooth Operations

Unique’s Sounds of the Sixties has broken all previous records and achieved its best- ever audience, according to the latest RAJAR results.

Listening figures are up 10% on what was already a high point last quarter and nearly 4 million people tune into BBC Radio 2 every Saturday between 8am- 10am to hear Brian Matthew punch out the 60s hits- a UK audience that puts the show in the top ten of all radio audiences.

Smooth Operations’ Radcliffe and Maconie and Unique’s Pick of the Pops also recorded all- time highs, with Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie seeing nearly a 15% increase in their listenership.
