Smooth Ops Wins Pan-BBC Olympic Podcasts

We are very excited to announce that Smooth Operations has been awarded the contract to produce a weekly podcast showcasing the very best coverage of the 2012 games from across the BBC.

Presented by Eleanor Oldroyd, the Olympic 2012 podcast will give users the chance to sample the very best of the myriad content the BBC is producing in the run-up to this most anticipated event.

The series is due to start in March and will be available for download weekly until September, with more frequent podcasts around the games themselves.

Smooth Operations’ Managing Director John Leonard said, "This is a very exciting opportunity for us to play a role in this major worldwide event. We’re determined to do justice to the excellent coverage we know the BBC will produce and look forward to working closely with the BBC 5Live team in Manchester on what is certain to be an historic occasion."
